Ah, how much more can Gothamist love The Onion?
"MINNEAPOLIS, MN—In a turn of events the 30-year-old characterized as 'horrifying,' Kevin Widmar announced Tuesday that his mother Lillian has discovered his weblog.
'Apparently, Mom typed [Widmar's employer] Dean Healthcare into Google along with my name and, lo and behold, PlanetKevin popped up,' Widmar said. 'I'm so fucked.'"

on a side note, nothing is worse than having a website, having your parents know about it, and knowing that they are either too lazy or too disinterested in you to check it out! those bastards.
i hope my parents never read my blog. not that there is anything too bad on it, i just don't want them questioning my every action. i get enough of that already. it's only a matter of time until they figure it out though.
My parents read Gothamist and Bluejake. And then they leave funny comments, like this. They are Gothamist Industries followers.
don't you mean "Gothamist Heavy Manufacturing, Media, and Petrochemicals Industries LLC"?
Gothamist Rendered Fats, Precious Metals & Water Treatment Plants, LLC.
I'm not black or good looking. Is there any chance in hell I'm going to be the Featured Personal?
Well hey, doshin, I am black and good-looking and I haven't been either. Then again, I haven't really tried or anything... Besides, Gothamist doesn't even pick that stuff, right?
the guy today is almost as hot as the black/asian guy.. im partial to the glasses on the other guy though.
My mother occasionally reads my blog. I keep telling her the references to the cops giving me coke, the muggings, the drug refences, etc. are all fictitious, as the blog has a "semi-fictitious" disclaimer.
Her response: "It's not ALL fictitous!" Which is true, but she doesn't know what is fact and what is fiction. Thank god I put in that disclaimer.
I have a bunch of Bridgewater Township political officials, candidates, wannabes, etc., reading my blog---and then denying it!
No, we don't pick who gets to be on the personals, it's some script that runs automatically I think. But if we could choose, it might get out of control, because we'd try to run a contest "whose picture do you want to see?" etc.
I would FREAK if my mother read my blog.
