It's my understanding that Larry is a crossdresser but not necessarily a TG. Alot of straight men are.

I think it doesn't matter if he looks womanly or not. His name is known all over the world due to his creature, that exactly shows that it was born due to a man's mind.

Personally, as an out and out lesbian, I looked at this pic and thought "hes not that womanly, maybe a little gay looking, but the hot babe next to him is coooo oh wow".

If Larry is planning surgery and all the rest then all the best to her. My god if (s)he can get that reaction out of me then (s)he deserves it :)

Indeed, I need to admit, that L. Wachowski

does look pretty much more feminine than what

I would expect from a crossdresser (that basically is a male than likes to wear a dress occasionally).

I am a post-op (both SRS and FFS) male to female transsexual

by myself, and I find it interesting to

see what happens with this case. I am of course a bit sceptical since gender dysphoria is quite rare and crossdressers and transvestites are much more common,

but despite what have been discussed, actually,

the face looks like a result of at least some amount of electrolysis and/or lasering

(currently the only proven

permanent hair removal methods available).

Another notable thing is the jaw. Does it

have been always like that? It reminds me

of the work of Dr. Douglas Ousterhout,

actually.

And wasn't the hair previously

more recessed? I would like to see

other pics, if there would be signs of

scalp advancement / hair transplants. Also

the chin looks a bit different than what

did I expect to see from a male. These changes

don't happen to happen

without changes to facial bones,

I know it because I have had FFS at Dr. Suporn,

that is a part of transsexual gender correction

treatment. I don't see however, any strong evidence in these pics, but at least some signs of that perhaps L. Wachowski is more than just a crossdresser. But still, there was Larry Wachowski on the end texts of Matrix Revolutions. When I was in a early stage in the transition, I used only initials when name was needed. I wanted to avoid writing my name and I suppose that if L. Wachowski is a TS, then perhaps there could have been a some kind of sign in the end titles of Matrix 3, but there wasn't, so this speaks against the observations I wrote above.

There's a lot of terrible half-information floating around out there in connection with this gossip, including in Wired magazine... Larry Wachowski could be taking hormones without wanting an operation, could be more than "just a crossdresser" even without taking hormones, etc. What's apparent from the pictures is that he has grown his hair longer, is wearing more feminine clothing & accessories in public, is plucking his eyebrows, and has either had some kind of facial hair removal or is using a lot of foundation. A lot of this would be unusual for cross-dressers, who are usually defined by their split lives -- like, they look like men most of the time but occasionally dress up like ladies (often in ultra-feminine style). Larry Wachowski's mode of dress & presentation is much more like someone planning to live full-time as a woman (regardless of whether there are hormones, surgery, etc involved) which would make him transgendered, or a transsexual. (Trust me - I have seen this dozens of times.) It's impossible to tell from the pictures whether he's on hormones, but his face does look a little fuller in the cheeks.

I didn't mean to come across as 'strident' or anything, but upon re-reading my post realized it may have come across that way.

I should have added that the gist of your post (that whatever is up with Larry Wachowski, it isn't nearly as creepy as what Polanski did).

I think you can be a Matrix fan AND be okay with Larry Wachowski's sex change/fashion choices. It's just momentarily flummoxing. It's not as creepy as Roman Polanski having sex with a 14 year old girl, that's for sure.

okay, screw it, as big a matrix fan as I am, I must admit that dude looks like he has changed into a woman. I guess we know where the first major transexual blockbuster film is coming from. should be pretty cool!
