2/3 Line Cursed

This is why Gothamist was late to work yesterday: A second fire at the same subway station affected by Friday's fire. Some insulation that protects track from the third rail was smoldering, causing a "smoke condition." Gothamist would like the MTA to provide "late excuse" slips for all the commuters delayed, because our "there was this subway fire..." explanations are sounding fishier and fishier, as well as some Ibuprofen to take after having to wait on the platforms or in trains to start moving again.
