Halloween in New York

Just one night after DJing at Orchard Bar, Meccapixel's Mike C took to the streets and shot some awesome photographs of West Village Halloween-ery like the one above. This is why Gothamist is scared of the West Village during Halloween like a NYC public school kid is scared of his/her school on Halloween, but God bless technology for bringing Halloween to us.

More Halloween photographs from rion. And Mike C will be DJing next at Open Air on Saturday, November 8.

Thanks for the hookups Jen! I think what makes this white werewolf funny is the backpack. No, it's not a messenger bag, but still urban enough. Perfect for the werewolf on the go!

Exactly - you can't be having a messenger bag when you're climbing all over NY. I'm a huge baby, but I refused to get out of the subway at 7th Avenue and 14th Street because I was afraid of the Halloween scrum. Instead, I stayed on the train with drunken girls from Long Island yelling at each other for being stupid.

Most NYC public school kids are not afraid of anything. But good try.
