Maybe they won't play it at Shea, but they just might play it elsewhere when Mike comes to bat. I remember a Blue Jays game when the PA guys shook up Dave Stewart by playing "Lucille." It was to remind him of the time he was picked up by the police while in flagrante with a prostitute. While in custody, Dave "was shocked to learn" that the woman was actually a guy, a la Eddie Murphy. This was before Dave pitched for the Jays, of course.

As you know I worship Spoon (tongue jamming incidents aside - hey sounds a bit like DJ) but I just wanted to say that Mike Piazza is totally gay and it would be refreshing if he just came out with it.

I like Spoon, but I've heard multiple accounts of what's his face from Spoon, Britt Daniel, sticking his tongue down the throats of girls from the audience, without their okay, in front of their boyfriends, so I'm a little wary of them.

Haven't heard the B&S Seymour Stein track but it can't be as good as Spoon's swipe at their old Elektra A&R man Ron Laffitte, "The Agony of Laffitte " Best.
