I wonder where people with dogs live in NYC. I'm from Brasil, living at the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I was recently offered a job as a paralegal in NYC, but I'm about to decline it, since I can't find a decent place to live that welcome pets, except the sky high expensive apartments.Being a responsible pet owner, I would rather keep living in Mississippi than give up my lab mix, Kokoah. Anyone know of an event in New York City for dachshunds? I remember reading about a dachshund parade last year and was wondering if it was an annual event. Any info would be appreciated. Dawn :) insanalli@aol.com

Considering that "Make my day" was uttered in a movie in San Francisco, I wonder why NYers would want to adopt a dog with this catchphrase. But two movies about the City feature dachshunds.
