Stupid Paralegal Tricks

Windup sushi
Reading the sushi memo mentioned in the Times today (thanks to Gawker's helpful PDF) made Gothamist realize that in order to make everyone's lives a lot easier, especially the peons who need to draw up documents like this, everything should be hyperlinked, blog-style. It's not as formal and could probably not be used in a court of law, but it sure it is faster and more immediate than looking for the sources on the footnotes yourself.

Buy yourself some wind-up sushi.

How about making life easier by having concerts where the band makes sushi for you (thus skipping the need to go out afterwards).

From the Mainichi Daily News article on Tokyo's trendiest band Gyoko . . .

"Perhaps one of the most endearing parts of Gyoko's show is its encore, which is a tastier treat than simply belting out tunes like most bands would do. At the end of each performance, Morita cuts up the tuna head the band uses as a prop and makes sushi, which is shared out among the audience, presumably together with the sake other band members also carry around throughout the night."

20 years ago I was a student at U.C. Berkeley, and one day I went wandering south of campus and found a stationery store with a handwritten sign in the window: YES! WE HAVE WALKING SUSHI!

So I bought some wind-up walking sushi.
