In their first annual "Design Issue" (celebrating "fresh life-affirming spirit" of approachable, warm design), Newsweek includes a "Design Quiz." Gothamist chortled through the ten questions; here are three:
1. The 1995 documentary "Unzipped" portrayed the life of what famous clothing designer?
Ralph Lauren
Giorgio Armani
Isaac Mizrahi
Calvin Klein
2. What is Razorfish?
An architecture firm
A Web-design company
A clothing design company
A company that designs high-tech products like computers and cell phones
6. Which designer has NOT designed products for Target stores?
Michael Graves
Philippe Starck
Kenneth Cole
Isaac Mizrahi
Todd Oldham
Sadly, there is no assessment of your personality with your score, like "If you scored 100%, you are probably gay, metrosexual, or a New Yorker." Unfortunately, Newsweek's reader profile doesn't give stats on those things.

And what was Gothamist's score? Hatchback would have taken the quiz, but the questions seemed to be missing from the page Gothamist linked to.
I scored 90%. But then, I'm gay AND a New Yorker.
I am neither gay, nor a student of design and I abhor the term metrosexual, but I managed to get 80 percent right.
However, I am a New Yorker, so that may explain why I got more than one right.
And what's with people referring to themselves in the third person? Is this some new fad in New York that I'll find out about when it's over?
doshin is confused.
It's the Hulk-approach to writing.
Gothamist scored a 90%. We're New Yorkers.
Damn! I got 90% as well, and missed out on one I really should have got -- the Andy Warhol question. Most annoying.
Damn, I'm a bisexual male, native New Yorker, and often mistaken for a metrosexual, and I only got 50%.
Don't they mean, 'What *was* Razorfish?'
80 percent baby! What do I get? I love you, I love you, I love you all!
