Our favorite music-fashion-food impressario whose name sounds like a children's toy, P.Diddy, reveals more about his process to run the [ING] NYC marathon in the NY Post in a running diary, Diddy-style. Our favorite parts of it:
- I'm avoiding alcohol and sex right now.
- [Fitness entrepreneur David Barton] kids with me when I haven't taken my workout seriously - bringing the cell phone, having two assistants on the phone the whole time.
- We're getting a little running craze going on in the hip-hop world. Jay-Z's been running. I can't say if Beyoncé's running - we haven't talked. But I think Jay-Z's up to five miles.
If anyone has seen Diddy, or Jay-Z or any other rapper running, please share. We think telltale signs of Diddy running would be an entourage, bling blazing, and some paparazzi.

DIDDY WINS OPRAH'S SUPPORT
Rap mogul Sean 'P Diddy' Combs has taken advantage of his bid to run the New York Marathon -- by waging a bet with billionaire chat show host Oprah Winfrey.
Bad Boy boss Diddy recently announced plans to run the tough 26.2 miles on November 2 to raise $1 million for underprivileged city schools.
And in part of his campaign for cash, he visited Oprah's show via satellite on Wednesday to try and double his sponsorship cash, by challenging Oprah hand over another $1 million if he breaks her record of four hours and 29 minutes.
She agreed -- and also invited him to take a rest on her couch when the race is over. Diddy will return to her show the day after the marathon, for his first in-person appearance on her show.
