A 24 year-old woman going for an early evening run in Prospect Park was attacked. Someone sneaked behind her, grabbed her and groped her genitals last Friday evening. She was running on the East Drive at 7:30PM. That's not too late, but still, with the evening getting darker sooner, it's better not to run during dusk in less trafficked areas. This adds to continued concerns about the police cutting their patrols in the wake of an increased number of attacks lately.

Quit nit-picking on The Gothamist. Typos are part of her charm.
Last Tuesday I entered the park at the right-side GAP entrance at about 3:30 p.m., and noticed a guy peeing right behind the stone gazebo. Sure, people pee in the park, but this was steps from the sidewalk and strikes me as lazy/rude/somewhat psychopathic. The next day, at about the same time, in exactly the same place, I see a different guy go back there and sure enough, he takes a whiz too! Is this some kind of legendary spot, or is the park really just becoming a haven for criminals?
More like a haven for peeing. I don't think it's a new phenomenon.
