It may be wrong to say it, but this picture from a Saddam-centric Iraqi children's textbook reminds Gothamist of Highlights for Kids. However, the story it's telling is of "four Zionist soldiers storming an Iraqi home."

I always read Highlights at the dentist's office and always found it to be disappointing... I always felt -- secretely -- that Ranger Rick was better -- yet I tried to like Highlights as I felt that it was the Paris Review of kids mags..
