The Wayans Brothers Do the Hilton Sisters

Casting: "Busy Philipps and Maitland Ward will star opposite Marlon and Shawn Wayans in Revolution Studios' comedy 'White Chicks,' directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans. The movie, produced by the Wayans along with Rick Alvarez and Lee Mayes, begins filming in Vancouver, Canada, on Oct. 19. The film, which is written by the Wayans, tells the story of two black police officers who must go undercover in the Hamptons as two Caucasian socialites. Ward and the already cast Anne Dudek play socialite sisters and heiresses Brittany and Tiffany Wilton; Philipps portrays their best friend who is always wearing clothes three sizes too small for her." - Hollywood Reporter

Plot: "After messing up a major drug bust in New York City, two African American FBI agents (who are also brothers), Marcus and Kevin Copeland (Shawn and Marlon Wayans), try to impress their boss by volunteering to protect the Wilton Sisters, Tiffany (Dudek) and Brittany, the heiresses of a hotel empire, from a kidnapping scheme during a short trip from JFK to the Hamptons. Deciding to change the strategy drastically, the brothers use themselves as bait, wearing lots of pale makeup and dresses to pass as the Wilton sisters, while the real sisters are hidden away, safe from harm. Now, the agents just have to convince the world (including their coworkers who are now protecting *them* and the Wiltons' friends and family) that they're actually young, rich, white heiresses. I can not believe some these posts. Some of you people have actually narrowed it down to racism and claiming that the Wayans Bros. are talented. What a joke! I will admit that Scary Movie was pretty funny but neither of the Wayans in the movie had much to do with that, at least not their parts in the movie. I think this family is long overdue for retirement from the movie business and these days, anyone who is entertained by these has-beens are just as stupid as the movies they make.

I think of Hilton sisters as rich trash but I LOVED THIS MOVIE. It could have been even funnier, but I had wonderful time seeing it. They whole movie house was cheering and laughing, it's been a long time since I felt that GOOD leaving a movie. I thought 50 first dates was good too.

Oh, this is gonna be soooooo funny! Its a fish out of water story. You see, Black people act very different from white people and when two black men are dressed up as white women, and thrown into white society, they just wont know how to act. They'll be all ghetto, and confused by the white folks uptight manners and proper English. Madcap zaniness will ensue. Haaahaaahaaa!!

A next thing, so what if black people are making fun of white people?? For YEARS upon YEARS upon YEARS white people have had blacks in slavery-to the point where the blacks couldn't even look at a white slave master. Now(21st century) the blacks have a chance to sit back and laugh at these so called, 'slave masters' everyone has a problem??? how come people are so sensative about it now?? its not like blacks are putting whites into slavery??? no, all we're doing is having some fun....RELAX...if you can't take a joke....COMEDIES aren't for you.......LOL....white chicks......

I saw the trailer for this movie a while back and just cringed.

I'm black, and I KNOW brothers & sisters would be screaming for hides if a movie 'Black Chicks' came out with white guys impersonating the Williams sisters. Don't give me this, 'they're just doin their thang,' shit.

I'd be pissed if the situation were reversed, so I can understand if white people are *just* a little touchy...

I personally like the Wayans brothers...esp. Marlon. Shawn needs to work on the acting skills but in any case he must be doing something right cuz he's making the dough. This movie, I must admit I'm quite skeptical. White Chicks???...hmmm I don't know. There could be a few ha ha's but nothing to look back and say...Gee, what a classic!!! But don't fret Marlon and Shawn because if it flops, ur not the 1st and u def. won't be the last. Hollywood has made more million dollar mistakes. And in any case u guys can sit back have a could cry and let the money wipe ur tears:)

In response to Deidre, it wouldnt be one of us people (by that I guess you mean white people)doin' that movie, because no studio would ever fund white comics in blackface.

Having said that, black comics making fun of whites doesnt bug me, Im not into bland PC humor, gimme the offensive stuff, even if my own race is the butt of the joke. I just wish some people in the PC crowd would share that atittude when minorities get a little fun poked at them.

personally, i like the wayans brothers. i think they look good and they're funny. they're doin' their thang. if that was any one of you people doin' that movie, you wouldn't be complaining about it. you'd just be glad you would be makin' money. so, quit complaining about everyone and get a life.
