Tonight, Ping-Pong at Southpaw

2003_10_pingpong.jpgPing-pong at Southpaw. Yes, ping-pong the game. There's no party, just time for an ass-whooping. And the bar is open for a drink. Enough said.

This past summer the Cynthia Rowley shop in the Hamptons had a Ping-Pong table set up, complete with balls and paddles. I'm not sure if I saw the Jack Spade paddle-and-ball bag there or at the Jack spade shop.

Anyways, is Ping-Pong the new bowling?

I'm holding out for Hipster Lawn Darts.

Preferably thrown at each other.

That sign looks like it could have been designed from our friend at firstpersonsingular. who happens to live right around the corner from southpaw.

can anyone recommend a place to play ping pong in manhattan? The only place I've been able to find charges $12/hr per person.

Cool! I'll wear my best trucker hat tonight!

And is it cool if I bring my mom?

if only they had a place to play croquet in the city - tops lawn darts any day

"Ping-Pong Summer" is coming, everyone. You heard it here first...

And when the ping pong table is taken, you can play Southpaw's pinball machine. It's like being 12 again, except for the booze.

"Ping-Pong is the new 8-track."

Apparently. There were, like, only two people utilizing the equipment when I stopped in for a beer last night. And the pinball machine: slow table.
