Spike Jonze At Resfest

The distinctive, inventive, [insert overused but highly appropriate adjective here] flair of skateboard-magazine-editor-turned-music-video-director-turned-Hollywood's-new-guard Spike Jonze will be on display this year at Resfest. When it rolls into town on October 11, there will be a program called Spike Jonze Rarities, including a number of unseen videos and short films, including 1995's "The Oasis Video that Never Happened" and a Fatboy Slim's "Weapon of Choice" video with audio commentary from Christopher Walken. Jonze, along with Michel Gondry and Chris Cunningham, are at the fore of more visually engaging and cutting-edge videos; a DVD of Jonze's work will be released on October 28.

For some additional "Weapon of Choice" fun, the stick figure version of the video. Some of Spike Jonze's video credits.

I'd like to see a stick figure version of "The Continental." "Would you like some Chaaam-pagne?"

I second that!

What's this about an Oasis video that never happened? What song?

Actually Spike was a photographer for Freestylin' magazine back in the 80's which featured bikes and some skateboarding with Lew and the gang. Spike did some really wicked xerox deconstruction to a lot of his photo's in that mag. Anyone wanna buy a lime green CW circa 1986 in good condition?

I have a bet with a friend of mine about the Weezer`s video clip "Undone (the sweater song)"
In the videoclip you SEE the band in slow motion, but you HEAR them at a normal speed.

The shot is done with a high speed camera. This mean on set you play the song at a diferent speed than normal for the play-back, so the question is:
You need to play the song faster or slower than normal while shooting?
