Gorilla Runs Rampant On Streets of Boston

2003_9_littlejoe.jpgA 300 pound gorilla escaped from his exhibit at Boston's Franklin Park Zoo, injuring a teenager, and grabbing, throwing down, and then jumping on a 2 year-old girl. Then "Little Joe" wandered on the streets for 2 hours, before being sedated by zookeepers. As this was his second escape, Gothamist can only assume that Little Joe was making a fast, albeit violent, break for it, looking for the Limo Liner, to head to New York, where our animals are simply depressed.

It's Frankin Park, not Frankling.

Way to go Joe! I hope he outsmarts them again.

He is totally holding onto that pole like he's saying "I don't wanna go back." Sad.

Lets just hope he doesn't use any more 2 year old girls as a jumping toy.
