I'm quite sure the BI is about Cuba Gooding. He's known to philander, and the hints are way- obvious. As for Ethan, its a damn shame he's throwing away such a good woman. I always thought she was too good for him. Those poor kids.

I really think celebrity marriages are like normal dating. How often do you think these people see eachother. Ethan has been jumpong from place to place, Montreal to Paris, while Uma was working on her films. Regardless, I know the girl Ethan cheated with in Montreal... Nothing special, Uma is much better.

Just back from woodstock and yeah, it's about Mr Hawke doing the do... Here's a little story to give you an idea of what kind of a swell guy Ethan Hawke is: My pal was working at a Woodstock resturant and Mr. Hawke arrived with a large party which included some babies. The group made a big fuss about sitting outside and tables had to be moved to suit them. Bill comes at the end of dinner and Ethan says "Oh, gee I guess I forgot my Credit card!"...He thinks because he's a celeb, that he should get comped by the new resturant. They say, well, maybe you better go get your credit card?..which he does....Then they leave dirty diapers under the table to boot. Sounds like a prick to me.

Hmm, good call re: blind item. The blind item I remember a few years back about Ethan Hawke was something about a married to a beautiful actress actor turned wannabe writer who was having an affair with writer he called "the love child of Norman Mailer and Toni Morrison." My guess for the writer in question is Zadie Smith.

The Post item is referring to Cuba "Snow Dogs" Gooding, Jr. You can tell because of the Burger King and Fighting Temptations references. Also somehow doubt Ethan would go for zaftig chicks.

I know - what about the children? I'd like to think that's what happens when fabulously good-looking people mate, but, really, it's just messed up and sad. That's the weird thing about celebrity relationships...sometimes it turns out you have something unwittingly invested in them. K and I used to see Uma and Ethan walking Uma's dad's dogs near Columbia while she was pregnant with their first kid and they looked so sweet.

I feel sad for Ethan and Uma's kids. It's confusing enough to wake up to the fact that you have not 1 but 2 uber celeb parents, but 2 uber celeb parents who are divorced and hate each other-- agh. I know there are many more things to be sad about in the world, but still! 'Tis sad.
