Hurricane Isabel Nears

Hurricane Isabel is making its way towards the coast, but it's no longer a supercane. It seems like NC and other Mid-Atlantic areas will be hit hardest, NJ and Long Island are still gearing up for potential disaster. As for New York City weather, showers will develop later tomorrow, but like the postal service, rain or shine, we'll party on. We will just need galoshes.

NASA has an unintentionally (we think, but you can never be too sure about those scientists) funny and dirty subheadline: Checking Under Isabel's Hood.

Galoshes and some super gravity shoes to keep us from blowing away...it's mighty windy here off the Hudson!
