Yet another new way to mingle with other young professionals who love the arts: City Center, the gorgeous midtown performing arts venue, is launching a new organization for young professionals called City Center Access, and will be kicking it off with party tomorrow night. ACCESS will not only highlight the City Center calendar of events (Gothamist is fond of Encores!), but it will also offer social and networking activities (!!) as well as volunteer opportunities (ACCESS will be "adopting," and bringing the arts to, its own NYC public school). The next City Center ACCESS event is cocktails and a performance of Eddie Izzard's Sexie on October 8, 2003.
City Center Access party is tomorrow night, September 17, at City Center Studio 4. Located at 130 West 56th Street, 6:30PM; tickets are $25. To RSVP, click here.

I can't believe you used the phrase "networking activities" without a hint of snark...
You're right, I was just working off the press release. I do like the idea of the volunteer work with the public schools. I will add a "(!!)".
As an ACCESS member (full-disclosure), yes it is somewhat snarky but I suppose it is also honest in the sense that numerous people often join these types of orgs for the networking possibilities . . . anyhoo, it should be a fun time and hope people can make it.
