Dear Snapple, I paid for one of your juices and they were really nasty. It was sitting in the cabinet in a corner store for a long time. I know snapple company is really better than this. It was a diet raspberry snapple juice. I am very concerned about this. Please do something. Sincerely, A friend

Hi! I'm a Grad student doing a research project on Snapple and their Communications/Public Relations strategies. . If anyone has any information they can help me with I would really appreciate it. Basically, the project is about any communication/public relations strategies Snapple has used in th epast, present, or now. Any information related to the ongoing Snapple/NYC deal would be great. Snapple's "Golden Era" was 1994, when the product was being promoted by Rush Limbaugh and cases were flying off the store shelves. That is such a '90's drink, that I have not drunk since, well, the '90's. I think Quaker Oats bought it and it couldn't market it right (changed distributors, something). Then, of course, the flurry of copy-cat beverages. I wonder whatever happened to Wendy the Snapple lady?

I'm sick of Bloomberg treating this city like a business. He's selling our souls. New York shouldn't be marketed. This is not a business; this is a place where human beings live. New York doesn't have a circle-R � or a TM next to its name for good reason. Let's hope our city never turns into a brand. But if our souls are to be sold, why Snapple? I'd be happier if New York's official drink was Naked Fruit Drinks. At least it would be 100% juice, not the paltry 10-20% juice that Snapple has (read the nutrition label).

I am surprised that one of the marquee cities in the world would sell out so cheaply . . . do we really have such pour (bad bun but I'm out of coffee) negotiating skills? What a deal for Cadbury.

Yeah, the Times article points out that fruit juice is as sugary, but juice is not caffeinated or carbonated, so less burpy and spazziness.

haha, maybe they'll call it "the big Snapple" -- but seriously, unless you get plain old tea, doesn't Snapple have equally as much sugar and calories as soda? Snapple has an image of being healthy, but it's no different than junk food.
