I've seen the trailer for this twice ("Capturing the Friedmans" and "American Splendor") and I can't wait to see the movie. I have to admit, though, the idea of a Bill Murray - Scarlett Johanssen relationship creeped me out a bit.

There is a little bit of broad humor, but overall, I wouldn't say it's cheesy. It's actually very elegant. It just makes me want to go to Tokyo stat.

Hey what’s up with Nippon in 2003? Last Samurai, Lost in Translation….. I watched the Lost in Translation trailer and have two thoughts: It looks like a dangerously clich�d take on “that wacky” Japanese culture….which leads to the second thought… Anyone remember Mr. Baseball?

Agreed. This is a beautiful movie. I loved it. Highly recommended. Same goes for the soundtrack.
