We Heart Harry Goldenblatt

Evan Handler Forget Mr. Big or Aidan or even early Berger - the new Sex and the City guy the ladies are swooning over is Harry Goldenblatt, the hairy, sweaty, sweet mensch Charlotte married. The Post talks to women and men alike who love Harry, with people responding to his realistic (as much as possible in the SATC world) imperfection and commitment. Of course, some feel his wealth also alleviates some flaws, but Gothamist will stick to the glass half full opinion of people and say, Mazel tov to producers for bringing in a male character with almost negative muscle tone. Jason Lewis as Smith Jerrod is great eye candy, but Evan Handler as Harry Goldenblatt is more for the ages.

"It's like you know" was a great show. It was like a Cali Seinfeld.

Not that I care, but I'm surprised SITC would write such stereotypical jewish character.

I first noticed Evan Handler in the grossly underappreciated role of "Shrug" on "It's Like, You Know ..." Others may have remembered him in "Taps" -- the penultimate military school movie.

Having recently looked up on imdb.com the roles he's played, I must say the most intriguing of which I have not seen is the 1987 movie "What If I'm Gay?" Too bad not available on netflix.
