Paul Newman, Perennial Prankster

2003_8_hud.jpgOh, that Paul Newman is funny (now in that crusty, 70-something way, but still funny) - he's going to sue the Department of Housing and Urban Development for ruining the name "Hud" (and his residual opportunities). Ah, nothing like the rich and famous laughingly trying to get richer. Read his op-ed in today's Times.

Buy HUD on DVD. One of our favorite salad dressings is Newman's Own Balsamic Vinagrette. Yummy.

When I read this post, I actually thought the lawsuit was for real. Then I blinked for a minute or two after reading the op ed.

Gothamist assumes that it's readers will be smart enough to tell when it is goofing around. This is an unfair assumption. I demand more fair and balanced blogging.

The post is called "Paul Newman, Perennial Prankster"! Come on!

Paul Krugman's op-ed today is titled "Road to Ruin." I hear Johnny Ramone is going to sue.
