Maureen Dowd rains on politicians' blog parades. "Blogs, which sprang up to sass the establishment, have been overrun by the establishment. In a lame attempt to be hip, pols are posting soggy, foggy, bloggy musings on the Internet." Where can blame lie? Howard Dean, whose popular blog and "in touch with the Internet user" mystique is being copied. She rails that many candidates don't write to their blogs or worse, that their blogs are very boring. Well, Mo, that last point comes part and parcel with the Internet. Spare us.

I think Ms. Dowd used the internet (and blogging) as a coat rack to hang the democrats on. You sound biased against her, and her word-play is often tedious, but this article does have its humor, particularly on the limp attempt of the Kerry campaign to paint their candidate cool:
In bold type, the blog breathlessly described a music store stop in Littleton, N.H., "where John Kerry treated press and customers to a couple of songs on the guitar!"

And now this from Drudge (via Washington Post):

The electable Kerry is quickly proving himself to be a chump.
Who will give Bush his due medicine?

We just like poking fun at Dowd. She dated Michael Douglas, for heaven's sake.
