Interesting, blogging is really just reality TV with a modem and keyboard, yet somehow bloggers aren't hit with the distain that reality tv people are. Rojas has a simple and clean site, but I find it to be no better than i4u.com, or any number of amateur blogs that have been around for ages before gizmodo. So why is Rojas the golden boy? One word, Nick Denton (okay, two words). It seems if you work for or are down with the right cool circles, even pretty unremarkable stuff suddenly makes you kewl. For instance, most of the stuff mentioned in Rojas' apartment is stuff I own, as well as a few of my friends. Unless Rojas is rocking a Segway and playing with Honda's Asimo in his kitchen, we are really not impressed. So in closing, it's 'okay' to have a crush on your fellow reality tv bloggers, but 'reality TV' is trash, right? Can we all agree to wake up, smell the Bush, and do something more meaningful with our lives. [and no, not like criticizing blogs of blogs on comment boards, smartasses. ;^) ]

when i first met pete, i was convinced he was a hologram, or an animatronic robot. but when he started talking about how he pumiced his own jeans (on the inside only) i knew he had to be human- no robot could think up something like that.
