Some friends of mine worked for Ah-nold and Maria -- mind you these are small business owners. After they completed their jobs at one of the Schwarzenegger compounds Ah-nold and Maria dragged their feet for months, ignoring multiple bills and phone calls, never paying them. When these friends finally brought in a lawyer Shriver acted like the work done was questionable and offered them less than half the amount they were originally contracted to receive. They asked around with other contractors and it turns out Ah-nold and Maria are notoriously late with payments, if they pay at all, and they try to nickel and dime little guys to death through intimidation. Seems to me, if you can't act honorably in your own business dealings, and you can't pay your bills on time, then you have no business getting involved with one of the biggest budget messes in the country.

my vote (not that i actually have one), if i was voting to recall davis, would be for gary coleman. his hat is actually in the ring. a small hat at that.

Why does everyone hate the Last Action Hero? As acknowledgements of life as a cliche go it was absolutely amazing. Arnold basically made a movie saying 'I've gone as far as I can go in this genre and thats that. Now, if you give me $20 million a pop I'll do it again, (and again and again and...) Heck, I wanna rule the world someday, and I need those ample $20 million dollar disbursements, and limited Kennedy status of course, to do so. So nyah.' And when else are we going to see Arnold doing Shakespeare? It wasn't a great movie, but damn if it isn't a great way to spend a Wednesday afternoon while you should be at work.
