I think the Trump's characterlessness works well, it's very modern, but it's just this huge lump there. It'll just take a while to get used to.

just thought i'd stick up for the trump word tower. i think it's a slick monument that holds down its east side spot nicely. the lobby/foyer thing doesn't do justice to it's exterior tho.

I was recently taking pictures of the skyline from the B'klyn Bridge. When I got home and saw the results, there was this really tall, thin, black building sticking up on the far east side of the panorama... Trump World Tower, I assume. Aside from it's size and location, a characterless building, for sure.

Roosevelt Island is definitely underappreciated. Few people know about the pedestrian bridge that connects RI to Queens. Great for bike rides and Sunday afternoons.
