The British title of the show is also a deragatory name. I'd be willing to bet that was the reason it was not used.

Yeah, but the thing is, Americans would think that this show is about ghosts or the supernatural or something that should really be on the UPN.

Weird - this was called 'Spooks' in the UK. Do you 'American types' not know what Spooks means then? Actually, I thought you invented the term 'spook'!
