Wow, road signs, usually meant to be informative, now including phrases like "fuhgeddaboutit" I'm certain that non-native English speaking tourists or residents will appreciate that. *French Tourist* "Le sign, it said, fu-get-aboot-tit when I leeft broooklin. Wchere is dis fu-get-aboot-tit? We want to see le sites of L'Etas Unis." *Dunkin' Donuts Clerk* ".... Do ya want cream or nawt?"

Excuse me, I must have come upon the site for Rationally Driven Duds. I was looking for some light-hearted relief from the monotony of the quotidian and relentless fear + money mongering. As for this much addressed money issue; any idea on the comparative cost of a couple of signs vs. road repair or revamping education? Chump change. Get some flavor folks.

Even worse are the signs entering... "Brooklyn, Believe the Hype"... or something like "Happiness is Brooklyn"... I've seen a few and always felt embarassed when seeing them.
