2003 Emmy Nominations

2003_7_laworder.jpg

Gothamist is seriously disappointed in the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for not nominating Law & Order for a record breaking 12th consecutive nomination (always a bridesmaid, never a bride, but that's okay, as it's the longest running scripted drama today). Nominating C.S.I. over Law & Order? This is but one reason why the Emmys are never taken very seriously.

We are, however, pleased with the attention you've given Curb Your Enthusiasm, with 10 nominations including best comedy, best actor, best supporting actress, and best directing (4 nominations!), so we'll be watching come September 21, but we won't be that happy.

She and the guy they added last year have totally poisoned the show.

You know who cleaned up, my friends, was Alexandra Pelosi.

The 30-something daughter of the House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi cleared like 6 noms for "Journeys with George."!!

Moral is, it pays to have a high-powered mom in politics and it pays follow a jackass around with a camcorder.

i can't believe L&O got shafted by the emmys- those bastards! i mean, there is so much crap on TV, and the quality of L&O has stayed consistently high. ok, maybe it's stayed consistently mediocre, but it's television- what do you expect?

I've played the interactive game so many times. I should get it. Better yet, I should put it on my Amazon wish list.
