Microchip In Your Pet

HomeAgain microchipA pet missing for over a half year was found via the microchip implanted in its skin. The microchip was by HomeAgain, a company that is positioning itself as the third natural step for pet owners, after spaying /neutering and vaccination. According to the FAQ, the microchip is the size of a grain of rice. It's all very X-Files and Gothamist wonders when humans will start to be tagged.

  • yeah. if it's so great, why did it take so long to find the dog?

That would be an awesome show. They'd get tough U.S. Pet Marshals to track down animals. I love it.

Over a half year? Why did it take so long? Perhaps the puppy didn't want to be found - maybe there's a show here - Fugitive Puppy.

  • My kitty has a microchip in his neck-- the ASPCA puts them in automatically before allowing them to be adopted. Kind of neat. I wish that I could control him with my palm pilot.
