Da only reason y im commenting is because I think its quite sad that people waste the precious time that God has blessed us with slaggin other people off.

Beyonce is a wonderful artist and performer and thats all that should be spoken or commented about. Her love life, image and hair has nothing to do with us. She has the right to wear blonde weave, even purple weave if she wanted to, and no1 should have anything to say about it unless asked. I honestly believe that eveyone on this site who have written a whole paragraph putting her down have nothing to do with their lives, and its an absalute SHAME how black people cannot & will not stick together! Why can't you stop seein your people faults/putting them down and appreciate their talents, and celebrate their success. well , I like Beyonce but I think that she gets way too much credit nowdays.If she had started solo back in the days when the late Aaliyah,Brandy,Monica were popular , I don't think that she'd beed this famous.Cuz she's not real.She has never said anything smart,and believe me I've seen a lot of interviews.She semms to be told what to say everytime she opens her mouth.Everything she is today,she stole from others.The hair is sooo Mariah,the make-up Tyras, the bootyshakin straight up J.Lo!On vacation pictures she's an average Joe.She needs at least 7 hours of getting ready-time to look pretty (includding wigs,body make-up and face make-up).Yes she has a powefull voice, but she seems very insecure and just needs to show off everywhere.I mean come on, how the hell can she be a L'Oreal hair model??She wears them wigs all the time.And the only african-american woman that had real natural long hair was the late Aaliyah.And u that said that Beyonce is not mixed....oh well I'm speachless.One picture says a 1000 words hun!Now u take a look at her when she's on vacation with Jay Z and u tell me what u see...And yes she's makin very much money on fakin but Mariah,Tyra,J.Lo and Tina Turner should get some of it.Or she could at least thank them for makin her who she is...

As numerous other people have said, so do other celebrities like Britney, Christina, Christina Milian, Jlo, etc etc. It’s simply because the job she does requires her to look her best every single day. And you all know that no body's hair can stay looking perfect every day especially when it’s stressed constantly by blow drying, hot combing, dyeing, etc. Beyonce has naturally long hair. Proof can be found from childhood pictures, old tapes of the girls practising as teenagers, and on the front cover of the debut DC album with the original girls, as well as the group's very early videos.

Infact the very unique thing about destiny's child when they first debuted was their natural hair:

-Beyonce had long hair about 2 inches beyond her shoulders, she had black hair with brown high-lights and often a few bleach blond streaks. She often wore extensions at the back of her head to enhance length and thickness

-Kelly started out with thick shoulder-length relaxed hair (this can be observed in early practise tapes of the girls aged about 15) she then had her hair cut in a boyishly feminine hairstyle, probably to differentiate herself from the rest of the group and give some individuality.

-Letoya Had beautiful, long, shiny, healthy hair that fell about 3 inches beyond her shoulders it was thick and black, with a fringe that she had from a very early age. (Observed from old tapes and photos) Throughout her career in destiny's child Letoya maintained her long layered hair with fringe, she later dyed her hair a light brown with soft golden high lights. She often added extensions to preserve the style and keep her hair from breaking.

-Latavia, the groups red head, had beautiful thick red-dyed, relaxed, shoulder-length tresses. She used to model for hair relaxers as a child, evidence that she has naturally good hair anyway! Her hair was styled in a flip or side parting through most of her career in destiny's Child; she often wore long extensions in the back of her head to enhance the length and thickness. She also occasionally wore her hair naturally curly, for example in the 'bills' video in the zebra outfits and 'Buga boo' video. Latavia quite possibly had the most strong and healthy hair in the group.

-Farah, one of the replacements of the original members in 2000 had beautiful relaxed hair about an inch past her shoulders, dyed a red colour by demand of Tina Knowles (Beyoncé’s mother), in an attempt to maintain the red head element the group had with Latavia. Farah said her hair used to be sandy brown with blond streaks but was advised to have it dyed to maintain the image of the group by the group’s stylist. For the five months Farah was in the group her hair appeared healthy and natural. She may have been the only member in the history of destiny’s child that never once used extensions.

-Michelle, the other of the group’s replacements and founding member started in the group with long thick black healthy her about 3 inches past her shoulders. Her hair was mostly styled in a flip or side parting. Michelle, for a while, sported purple streaks in her hair. As the group turned to a three piece and they became more successful, along came the extensions. Michelle’s hair become increasingly longer with the help of extensions inserted at the back of her head to add length and thickness.

As the years passed Beyoncé’s hair was breaking and she wanted to preserve it so she wore braids for about 2-3 years from the 'buga boo' video in '99 till 'emotions' in '01. She then began using conventional weaves until about 2002 when she discovered satin front wigs, which when styled similar to her original styles would appear to be her real hair. But smart people like me weren’t fooled. We first got a glance of these realistic wigs in the Goldmember film she did in '02, from then onwards Beyoncé stuck by her wigs till today. I don’t blame her. They have a natural hairline, they can be touched and teased in the same way real hair can and they can be styled to look natural. The only thing that Beyoncé got wrong was wearing weave in the L’Oreal ads- that was deceitful! But it goes to prove that Beyoncé had long hair and still has but is protecting it from the dizzy heights of celebrity stardom.

I just wanted to say that Beyonce's hair is indeed a weave. Beyonce's real hair is short ( a little passed her ears) and relaxed with blonde highlights that match her weave. We Black people know that it's not her hair because no black people with relaxed hair and highlights can have hair that long. Black people's hair is weaker then white people's, so with all those harsh chemials to straighten and highlight her hair would break off. I think we tend to over rate all famous people. when told something long engouh; we believe it. Take famous Indian actress Aishwarya Rai for example. Most Indians would claim her to be the most beautiful woman ever, but you don't see the rest of the world saying it. some of us even think she is ugly. i personally think she is beauyiful from some pictures. but i have to see her in person to know what she really looks like. i don't believe in "images". which are airbrush so much that any person would look stunngly beautiful. But if you see them face to face, you will know if they are just plain or cute or pretty or beautiful or gorgious. back to my point.India has brainwash it's people with so much Ms. Rai that they truely believe nobody is better looking. as 4 the rest of the world we see just another beautiful face, but not the most. same with Beyonce or any other celb. after a whole lot of media hype we think an avearage pretty girl is just the most beautiful. it's called clever marketing a human product to the world. that is why beauty is in the eye of the beholder and is also influence by brainwashing. I am not a Beyonce fan and never cared for her group. It just seemed to me from the very beginning that the group was being used to the advantage of Beyonce. She was always up front on stage and in pictures. Her voice is horrible. We call her the "Running Man" because of all the vocal runs she does when she's singing and those Swartzenegger size thighs she has. She overdoes it with every performance. There is this huge media machine behind her and when she finally speaks she seems as dumb as rocks. She speaks publicly about as well as George Bush does and we all know what idiot he is. It's as though she has no personality. Her smile seems fake, like it's been glued on. We've been stuck listening to people whose Daddys have too much control in their career and not enough in their education(i.e.Bush). Her 15 minutes of fame is almost over though.

I wanna say that although I'm not a fan of Beyonce's, I respect her. I don't know her personally so I won't put her down. Why do I have a newfound respect for Beyonce? She seems really conceited & full of herself, but maybe, just maybe, that's not the real her. I read the story of DC, a good book called "Soul Survivors" recently.

In it, you'll find the biographies of all 3 girls & how DC came to be, including all that happened when the original group split up. In this book Beyonce talks about her (surprisingly) painful childhood & adolescence in Houston. She reveals her struggles in school, the fact that she was overweight, her body-image problems, low self-esteem, & being the target of bullies. "I was shy and self-conscious," she says in the book, "I was fat, chunky, and I wore boy clothes. I made good grades but had trouble with math in 7th grade. This boy I sat next to made fun of me every day. He would call me ugly, fat, and stupid. He called me baldheaded. I would cry in the bathroom during lunch and then I'd go home and cry some more. My mom hired a tutor named Miss Little, who helped me with my homework."

This book didn't endear me to her, but it did help me see her differently. She is a person who faced the same difficulties that a lot of young people face. She also reveals that she had to lose 30 lbs. before becoming famous, had to start wearing weaves & exercising a lot. A lot of young girls who read this book can probably relate to her experiences growing up. She didn't like herself, people made fun of her a lot, but she had a family who believed in her. I still don't really care for her but I recommend this book to anyone who's interested in knowing more about Beyonce, Kelly, or Michelle.
