In the Hindsight is 20/20 department, one sign that lets you know this company is doomed: Basing your company on AOL Time Warner. Hollywood talent agency The Firm laid off most of its staff last Friday according to a Variety article by Dana Harris.
Harris also writes, "Firm co-chairman and CEO Jeff Kwatinetz once claimed that he wanted his company to be a model of multimedia synergy not unlike AOL Time Warner." Hee hee. The Firm is home to Leonardo DiCarprio, Cameron Diaz, Vin Diesel, and Samuel L. Jackson.
Jeff Kwatinetz is currently dating Brittany Murphy. Gothamist guesses someone has to. But why?
Gothamist on Pete Yorn, the brother of The Firm co-chairman Rick Yorn.

Who says someone "has" to date Britney Murphy??? Don't you see all the single people in this world? =P
You're totally right.
Oh, come now. Britney Murphy is the classic "pretty/ugly girl". You know, most of the time she's just plain ugly, making all kinds of weird faces. And you stare and stare at her, because you just, like, have to... until eventually you realize that she's so repulsive that you have to do her. And then she turns kind of hot.
Says you, donut. She's a crazy girl. In fact, I have a restraining order out on her.
What kinda sucker wears stilettos and a bustier to a Lakers game?
And who advised the Kwat to wear a hair piece akin to Bon Jovi playing the Meadowlands in '89?
C'mon, can't we all tell that Murphy is just biding her time until the film role she was born to play becomes available: Courtney Love
I'm amazed he was able to fit all those high-scoring Scrabble tiles into one last name. One triple word score and the competition doesn't stand a chance.
I was walking w/my gf on west 57th or 58th or so yesterday and I noticed someone checking me out. As she approached, I realized that it was Britney Murphy, along with some guido looking short guy, (maybe her bf?)
She was totally staring at me too.
