Toni Goes Broadway

Toni Senecal; Photo - Marc Weiss Jake's favorite Channel 11 reporter (possibly favorite reporter of all time), Toni Senecal, is hosting a program about Broadway theater tonight on at 7PM on Channel 11. We expect Jake to set the TiVo about 1.4 seconds after reading this, tripping over his skates in his excitement to reach the TiVo control.

The Daily News' David Bianculli thinks the special is all right but says Toni is an enthusiastic guide.

I fully agree--The only time I stopped my surfing was Toni was at the opening of Life (x3) and Toni actually stole Helen Hunt's napkin at the afterparty, while Helen was in the bathroom, so that she could give the news anchor a momento!

C'mon, you must be kidding. Ch. 11 news is bad enough and then Toni comes screetching on with her super phony whatever-the-hell celeb report, ye gods. Surfing past her isn't brief enough.
