Silly Hall

City HallThe Daily News asks various New York law experts if tickets are worth fighting. Some warn against infuriating the judge by dragging out the process, plus there's also the inconvenience of having to miss work to fight the ticket. Above all, having a rational, logical reason for arguing the ticket is essential.

One example that Gothamist was interested in was Dave Palmer's ticket for jumping a turnstile, when his 30-day Metrocard wouldn't work. We've often Metrotarded (tm - the morning news) it and have been tempted to go through the door, versus making everyone hate us, while we desperately swipe to no positive outcome.
