number portability will be great but the wireless companies will charge people a cancellation fee (~$150) when they try to switch services. even if it happens, the wireless companies won't make it easy.

beyond defense and rebuilding our relationship with the french, cell phone number portability is the most important issue facing our country today. it cannot be overstated.
