Larry David Speaks

Larry David Curb Your Enthusiasm The curmudgeon Gothamist would like to be, Larry David, speaks with Bob Costas tonight on On the Record with Bob Costas. David doesn't often give interviews (mainly because he doesn't have to), so it should be interesting to hear him riff.

He'll tell the infamous story about quitting-Saturday-Night-Live but-returning-to -work-after-freaking-out -about-the-ramifications story that became the basis for The Revenge episode of Seinfeld where George does the same thing. Apparently, the real Kramer told David just to pretend it never happened. The story is also recounted in Tom Shales and James Andrew Miller's fairly exhaustive oral history of SNL, Live from New York.

Gothamist was pretty pretty pleased when Curb Your Enthusiasm won a Golden Globe for Best Comedy.

I just want to say that I too am mortified by the black listing of tuna fish. I don't think there was/is anything else in the world that tasted so good and was also good for you. I grew up on tuna and proceeded to eat it every day for lunch. Now, what's this? Mercury?? Bad for you?! Bad for women who want to have children within the next couple of years?? I have to choose between the greatest meal of all time and procreating??! Limit myself to one 8 oz serving a week?!!?? What!! I'm with you Larry- I don't care what you have to do... GET THE MERCURY OUT OF THE TUNA!!

That kind of language does not have a place in this forum. This forum is for the exchange of ideas and constructive criticism. I don't think your suggestions will help Lindsay in any way.

I for one do like the show, but I find it revolves too much about Judaic traditions. It would be better if Larry acted like a good Christian like everyone else and set the tone for the show.

Also, after viewing the credits of the show, I feel the show could be improved by having a few more producers because it's obviously lacking in that department.

    Thank you for reading.

Are you out of your fucking mind? What do you think you will become of you writing them? maybe like when you write them they will think you are such an interesting person that they will write you back, maybe exchange numbers, call you, invite you over for dinners, what the fuck? Get a fucking life? get a big fucking enema, then go sit on a big fucking flagpole you fuck.
