Winona, for the Drama Club Kids

Winona on trial; Photo - APA high school musical Gothamist would pay to see: Point Loma High School in San Diego has created a musical based on Winona Ryder's shoplisting trial. Called "Sticky Fingers," the musical is about "a missile-factory employee and tango dancer who travels to Rodeo Drive, where she has a fateful meeting with her idol, Ryder, at Saks. The department store donated shopping bags for the set." We'd like to see this musical make it's way to the Great White Way.

Gothamist loves this guide to her clothes during the trial and finds a trial interesting entree into being the model of the designer whose clothes you were shoplifting.

Tom Shales loves musicals and devotes a column to some of his favorites that are now on DVD. Gothamist agrees that the 1953 film of Kiss Me Kate with Kathryn Grayson and Howard Keel is awesome, with the tunes "So In Love" and "Too Darn Hot."
