i've had a blast with mine. i just hit 6 months and 850 miles, i was able to give up a car and i save about $600 (car payments, insurance, parking, etc..) the ht isn't for everyone, just like a hummer or a bicycle isn't for everyone. it's an amazing machine, but it's really hard to explain unless you tried one or have travel needs that fit what the segway offers. if anyone is in seattle, send me a note if you want to try one out. cheers, pt

From what I have read about the Segway in the press, IT was supposed to be a revolutionary device. Having seen it and watching people look silly on it, all I can say is, its a big let down. When I was growing up, I could have sworn that I saw the exact say thing in a Mad magazine back in the 1970's.
