The Graduates

Rubbermaid According to the Times, the college graduating Class of 2003 is complaining about the lack of jobs available these days. Well, Gothamist is sure the Class of 1992 or 1993 has some advice for you.

But don't fret, Gothamist (Class of 1998) has some suggestions for you:

The Times also notes that the students who secured jobs at Rubbermaid turned into campus celebrities by virture of having jobs.

Yeah, but apparently Jayson Blair didn't graduate, so these kids still don't have a chance.

Thank you for acknowledging the horrible state of the job market when I graduated from college in 1992. I think maybe one out of ten of my friends had jobs upon graduation, and that included public service jobs.
