Lizzie Grubman is an example of a no talent person who is famous for nothing.

It's a shame that a person can make a living from doing / being nothing.

    "Improving the reputations of celebreties"

    - that's an actual job.. :) he he he..

She is a total low life loser.

I have zero sympathy for pathetic people who insist on playing a nice person image to the public. She is nothing more than a fraud.

  • Lennox

Isn't it ironic that the person who is in charge of improving the reputation of some of the top celebrities happens to be the 2nd most hated person by New Yorkers. Maybe those same celebrities should hire Enron's Fastow to prepare their taxes!

  • How about the MTA?

I, too, confess to shock at the absence of the Hilton sisters...

  • How about those tall New Yorkers that keep running into my umbrella? I'm tired of picking their eyeballs off the spokes. Like, ick, y'know?

  • Laura

At least the Hilton sisters are entertaining. Lizzie Grubman is hideous inside and out. I mean, all the highlights in the world won't conceal PURE EVIL. She's like the portrait of Dorian Gray, except the inner ugliness shows on her face instead of some painting--too bad for her.

I also agree that Pataki should be on the list.

  • How about the "Can you hear me now?" Verizon guy in their ridiculous ads?

  • arianna huffington certainly has a huge mansion in brentwood (l.a.). i as well confess to loving her.

you would think daniel libeskind should start showing up on these lists of most hated new yorkers, now that he is one, and claims to have always been one.

  • arianna huffington is a new yorker? i thought she was an L.A.er... (ill go on record as loving arianina... wherever she's from)

Even though this is only my second day on this site, I think that its pretty cool. Pretty much the way I view these blog sites is that "Reality TV" meets the "Internet".

keep up the good work gothamist!

  • Jen

Sycophantic bloggers? It's either "Watch what you say about our girl Elizabeth Spiers" or "You have no idea how much self-hate Gothamist already has. Believe us."

  • ML

How the hell did Arianna Huffington make the list?I can't be the only one who has no idea who she is.

  • Oh, I definately agree with Brian on that one....how many times have I almost had my eye poked out by an idiot not watching their umbrellas?

  • Brian Henderson

I think the all-time worst New Yorkers are short-people-with-umbrellas. Satan's spawn, every single one.

  • Sam

How about the dipsticks who came up with "Can you hear me now?" I'm pretty sure they live in NYC.

  • Nobody

    How about sycophantic bloggers?

  • J

In Re: to Realists msg, I m just going by what my sis friend (fdny member) claimed. I would think that the last thing the FDNY would be doing is playing politics at the expense of their dead.

  • I actually like the Hilton sisters...

  • jake

it seems really unfair that lizzie grubman made the list but the hilton sisters and tara reid got left off. i mean, who do these list-makers think they are? someone should call their publicist.

  • Joss

Pataki should be numero uno. What a big dumb idiot.

  • realist

How about the head of the FDNY union for spreading false rumors about Giulliani delaying decisions on 9/11 (not a single tactical decision was the responsibility of the Mayor by the way) and for encouraging his members to protest and even threaten the author of a book that called into question the FDNY's role in the WTC clean up efforts.
