Ah, High School...Were Those The Days?

The bassist rocksGothamist's little brother Eric is rocking out at school, and the band's name is Caligyne. One of the kids takes Latin, and apparently caligyne-phobia is the fear of beautiful woman, so the band's name means "Beautiful Women." Uh huh.

Another telling thing is that Eric and his friends have LAN Parties - they hook up all their computers and they play computer games. Or something, Gothamist was just trying to remember how nerdy we were in the day.

Eric is also the co-founder of the Culinary Society at his school...seems like there are a lot of girls involved, so he's obviously got some game. Eric's site: awkwardmotion

He's learning Greek and/or Latin, and you're learning leetspeak? Someone's really taking full advantage of his educational opportunities.
