Gothamist's New Logo

Gothamist logo, designed by Sam Park

We may be playing around with layout during the next week, but Gothamist has a new logo. Designed by Sam Park, it's simple and elegant (but not in a fussy way) - plus, there is a cityscape to further signify our gothamness. Coming soon: Stickers, t-shirts, tattoos, cat litter boxes.

Let us know what you think of the new logo by posting your comments.

i really like this new logo- it's smart and restrained at the same time.

nice! a bar graph, a gluestick, a syringe, a lipstick, a double aa battery all in a row...what better way to symbolize NY? I'll take a cat box too.

The new logo is clean and comfortable. It must be effective because I can't remember the old one. I can be vicariously metropolitan by enjoying this site daily! Thank you.

So who's getting the tattoo? Jen?

I love it! Put me down for 4 T shirts and a kitty box. Maybe some stickers too if they're the clear kind...I mean the kind that you can put on a car's rear window.

Since when is the Citicorp Tower taller than the Empire State Building?
