I modded my old GBA with the "Afterburner" kit a while ago, kind of a chore but it made Zelda so much more playable. Fear my soldering skillzz...

yeah I went out and bought this as soon as it came out... it's pretty fucking cool. I hadn't played gameboy in over 10 years (the gameboy color and the original gameboy advance both looked like they sucked and never interested me). i still had a bunch of my old gameboy games from '89 and they all work on the new one too. I've already got six new games for it, my favorite right now is probably Turbo Turtle Adventure... the screen looks so much better with a backlight now, and battery life is pretty impressive. the only downside is it's SO small. I mean i'm used to playing video games with the original Xbox controller, its hard to get used to using such a tiny set of controls... Anyone want to guess how long it will be before they come out with a WiFi link to play head-to-head? that's got to be on the agenda....
