oh! my! god! indigo! girls!

It looks like Wilco and SY are on sale now, I am snagging a couple tix right this very moment...

That sounds like some godawful noise. At least in years gone by you had a few good musicians but people like Sonic Youth (well, maybe you gotta be a youth). I'd really rather hear Roky Ericson and the Elevators or Ray Charles Trio or say anything bluesy at all. Not some in your face rant about some piddly ass situations brought on by life. Even the Jefferson Hodgepodge a few years back was preferabble and you had a guy who was warming up for the guy from Fairport Convention. John something or another. Heard he died a couple years back - Great steel guitar. Fairport Convention guy was a bust. Hope you get someone decent in 2004 but I guess I'm just another old fart. So sit back, fire up a doobie and I'll play you some "You're My Sunshine" a la Ray Clark and then maybe a little Lady Day and then pass the joint my way. Oh Yeah!!! Summerstage - good thing we got Personal CD players. You get the music and the man to go with it. Gosh I'm bored....
