What I Don't Want

What a Girl WantsGothamist has been looking for a way to talk about What a Girl Wants, the new Princess Diaries-ish movie starring Nickelodeon star Amanda Bynes, if only to talk about Colin Firth, making the transition to playing fathers of teenage girls. Warner Bros. is backtracking and trying to eliminate the peace sign from WAGW posters according to the Hollywood Reporter. No matter that there are tons of posters that have been up for weeks.

Gothamist is concerned that Colin Firth is going to be typecast here into playing poncey fools with teenage daughters. Don't do it, Colin. Don't ruin Mr. Darcy for all of us. The possible only saving grace in this movie is that Colin dances in shorts and a t-shirt, but I rather him swim at Pemberley and catch the eye of Elizabeth Bennett. Call me a romantic, I don't care.
