Meg Hourihan on Weblogs

Meg Hourihan posted her PowerPoint deck on "The Weblog Revolution: How technology and amateurs are changing the way we communicate". It's such a great, clear explanation that I feel much more confident in talking about weblogs now. It's so helpful that I'll make sure my parents read it, so they get more of a sense of what Gothamist is trying to do and why I'm obsessed and possessed.

I'd like to meet Meg as well and I, too, imagine an extremely low-key Jason Kottke. But I think he'd be starry-eyed when watching Meg excitedly talk about stuff.

i'd really like to meet meg in person so i could find out if those rumors about her talking very fast are true. i picture her sort of tweaked out and gesticulating wildly while jason kottke sort of stands behind her extremely lethargic and not speaking. Opposites attract, one must conclude.
