Black Hawk UH-60AThe Department of Homeland Security has decided that 24-hour air patrols will be resumed over New York City. A combination of both Black Hawk helicoptors and smaller "specially outfitted surveillance" planes will be flying above. No word on how many, but I have been seeing helicopters flying above the Hudson since last Wednesday and they were most definitely not traffic choppers.
