Yesterday's beautiful weather made me wonder if there were any new plans about the new pier that's right below my apartment building, so I did a little investigating. Apparently, there will be a cafe and kayaks/boats for rent - huzzah! The pier is at West 70th Street, in the lower part of Riverside Park known as "Riverside South." As you can see in the picture, the pier is a great place to be in nice weather, and during the summer, they have jazz and free yoga.
