Empire State Building Lighting

I can understand why they light the building up blue and white for Greek Independence Day, but what is "Equal Parents Day" and why is the Empire State Building lit blue and red for it? Empire State Building : Official Internet Site [via Megnut]

I was meaning to check what the lights meant, at least the blue and white ones the other night.

Hi, Jen, nice NYC blog [I'm collection the full set], especially your links collection, I'm swiping them all. Are you on NYC Bloggers yet? Yes, it's a mystery. I have a friend here from Brazil who was afraid to ascend because the ESB might be a target. But security was pretty much the same old bored security guards watching your stuff go through the X-ray machine.
