Oh, well, I went to a Margaret Cho performance (with a friend who looks exactly like her!) and I've got to agree with the article, Asians cannot joke. Look at the NBC "Last Comic Standing" Dat Pham. He's sooo not funny. Even my cousins can do the impersonations he does. I haven�t seen any appearances promised by NBC and yet the fat white guy is on Hollywood Square, what's up with that. As for Margaret Cho, half her jokes were about lesbians/gays and the others were stereotypes of Asians. Her impressions sucked so bad, my friend had to ask why I wasn't laughing. The guy behind me, however, was laughing so hard he kept leaning towards me so I decided to hold my sandals like a phone incase he came any closer. What's worse is I wasted thirty-something bucks for seats that were so high, I could barely see her with my glasses. Most of the seats in the front were reserved for military personnel and surprisingly, I was one of the few Asians who came. Most were Caucasians who were gay/lesbian or have no sense of humor. It was such a $^%&ing waste of money!!
